The TomTom Street Project was envisioned as an urban development project by Mika Group and the foundations were started in early 2009.
Located in the center of the Galatasaray district of Beyoğlu, TomTom Street encompasses 3 intersecting streets, which are Akarsu, Acara and Tosbaga streets.
The aim of Mika Group in creating this urban living area, was to offer an escape from the daily grind and monotone of today’s hectic city life. The area offers a wide venue selection of high quality cafe/bistro/meyhane wining & dining, music performance, shopping and will very soon offer artistic and cultural venues and events as well.
Also in development is a residence/boutique hotel project which is scheduled to be finalized towards the end of 2010 and an international youth hostel project is envisioned for 2011.

INDIGO
“Indigo”, which is considered by many to be the starting point of TomTom Street, is strengthening its line-up and musical range in its sixth operational year. With the advantage of its sizeable stage and increasing technical capabilites, Indigo has been able to give out more performances than ever over the last season. House, tech-house, electro, disco, nu disco, indie and many other international musical styles and events are showcased weekly in this magical house of music within Tomtom Street.

Located on a corner street within the Tomtom Street Project, “We” serves specialty salads, sandwiches, hamburgers, pastas, a wide variety of main courses and home made desserts every day of the week.
The venue presents a warm and modern atmosphere with its wooden architecture and groovy music, including live DJ sets taking place during the weekends.
With its cool bar scene, musical style and DJ booth on the second floor and soon to be converted terrace party space, “We” is the perfect place to hang out with your friends and throw private parties. The venue has been pin pointed as one of the upcoming “in” places in Istanbul.

ŞAHİKA MEYHANE
Located in the heart of the Tomtom Street Project, “Şahika Meyhane” inherits its name from “Şahika”, which is known to be one of the best known hang out spots in the “Nevizade” night-life & entertainment district of Beyoğlu.
The two-floor modern tavern (soon to be three, with a private dining room) is open seven days of the week. Specializing in Mediterrenean style Turkish and international “mezes” (Turkish tapas), Şahika Meyhane’s menu offers a wide range of dishes and delicacies from various regions of Turkey, Egypt, Armenia and the Agean coast. It also offers a very extensive selection of Turkish Raki’s, Arabian Araks and Greek Ouzos, besides a well selected wine list.
As opposed to the more traditional first floor dining room of “Şahika Meyhane”, the second floor dining room has been designed a bit more eclectic and along more modern lines.
